Live / ProductionAn automated room booking and IoT access control system replacing physical keys and manual check-ins. Combines role-based scheduling with dual verification—biometric face recognition and signed single-use QR tokens—that triggers automated door access upon arrival.
Concurrency-safe reservations powered by PostgreSQL advisory locking; Redis/Valkey pub/sub synchronizes event channels (watch_room, face_matched, token_validated) between the Flask API and Raspberry Pi door nodes; features an in-browser live FaceNet verification demo (/demo) with automated data purges.
BasBuddy
WIPCatching public transit in Malaysia shouldn't require guessing when the next bus will show up. BasBuddy is an unofficial, mobile-first transit tracker delivering live vehicle positions, directional map tracking, and instant stop ETAs powered by open data from data.gov.my.
Parses static GTFS feeds into PostgreSQL; background poller decodes GTFS-RT protobuf feeds across multi-agency routes, snaps GPS to polyline shapes, and caches precalculated ETAs in Valkey to serve sub-millisecond responses to a React PWA.
Resume Generator
An automated resume generator that extracts structured career data from a live portfolio or local fixtures and turns it into a single-page, ATS-compliant A4 PDF. It includes both a headless CLI for repeatable automation and a vintage Office 2000-inspired web interface for previewing and exporting resumes.
Cheerio extracts and normalizes portfolio data, Zod validates it, Handlebars renders the resume, and Playwright generates the PDF. Built-in checks verify the one-page limit, ATS text order, and font ligatures before output.
